Statement:
Throughout my studies and working as an independent artist,
the majority of my art projects have utilized clay.
Influenced by my background in architecture,
many of my ceramic pieces are created for interior and exterior architectural purposes.
I am interested in creating objects for streets, sidewalks, walls, floors, etc;
all with a same idea, to form trigger points,
to draw an attention, and to make the viewer aware of the space and the surroundings.
My work sets the aesthetic principles through which I perceive my life, and the narratives of my life are revealed through my work. I am the storyteller, somewhere in the midst of this ricochet. My quick and loose style allows me to convey messages intimately and honestlyalmost journal-like.
